Overview

A Data Room is an exclusive workspace where you can upload and manage your ingestion pipelines, generate Corvic Tables, run spaces, and create agents. Each data room is isolated, meaning the data, Corvic Tables, spaces, and agents in one room are not accessible from another.

Key Features

Isolation

Each data room provides complete data isolation:
  • Data in one room cannot be accessed from another room
  • Corvic Tables, spaces, and agents are room-specific
  • Perfect for organizing different projects or departments

Workspace Management

Within a data room, you can:
  • Upload and manage data sources
  • Create and configure Corvic Tables
  • Generate and analyze embedding spaces
  • Create and configure agents
  • Monitor pipeline execution and quality metrics

Creating a Data Room

  1. Navigate to the Rooms section in your dashboard
  2. Click “Create New Room”
  3. Provide a descriptive name for your room
  4. Optionally add a description
  5. Click “Create”
You must have appropriate permissions to create data rooms. Contact your organization admin if you don’t see the option to create rooms.

Best Practices

Organization

  • Use descriptive names that clearly indicate the room’s purpose
  • Create separate rooms for different projects or departments
  • Use room descriptions to document the room’s purpose and contents

Access Management

  • Grant access only to users who need it
  • Use room-level permissions to control access
  • Regularly review and update access permissions

Data Management

  • Keep related data sources in the same room
  • Organize Corvic Tables and spaces logically
  • Document your room’s structure and purpose
